ABSTRACT:
Security is imperative to maintain the confidentiality of the information. Secured information is the information that should not be known to the third party. This information is often transmitted using a public network. If the information is not secured beforehand, would be easily intercepted and the contents of the information will be known by the third party who is an intruder to the information. One of the methods used to secure the information is DNA cryptography. To further strengthen the DNA cryptography, this research is conducted. The aim is to improve security of the encrypted data using DNA cryptography and thus fills the gap of security. Additionally, this proposed concept integrate residue number system, Chinese reminder theorem and the properties of deoxyribo nucleic acid to generate a symmetric key by shuffling the key with the textual data, making the transformation of each character of the data better each time it is shuffled and thus, making the final output stronger to be broken when compare with deoxyribo nucleic acid cryptography. Subsequently, the designed model secures the data more adequately than the deoxyribo nucleic acid cryptography because of the designed pattern and confusion created during the process.
