ABSTRACT:
Information systems are set of interrelated components designed to collect, process and stored data as information to enhance the overall functionalities of the organization. The acceptance level of information systems from user behavior and intent has been coevolutionary. This research explores the rich facilities of Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) in assessing examination informationsystem, specifically Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB). A total of one hundred (100) questionnaires were created and distributed, out of which ninety nine (95) were usable while five (5) where mutilated. The results from the questionnaires analyzed presented performance expectancy (49%) and effort expectancy (37%) with the highest chance of influencing user behavior and intent for the system while social influence and facilitating condition were minimal.
