CYBERSECURITY IN VEHICLE-TO-EVERYTHING
ABSTRACT
With the increasing global innovation, a connected vehicle is now a cyber-physical system as it is a product of integrated Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems in addition to field devices that control actuators and sensors in the physical domain. Current Vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technologies have failed to have a secured system against collision with pedestrians and other objects on the connection or network. Also, the current V2X Technologies do not have prediction systems and do not automatically respond and make autonomous decisions on threats or Intruders. This proposed research leverages two machine learning algorithms (SVM and kNN) for prediction of threats and accidents in V2X communications. It is expected that this work helps the novel field of V2X especially as it conforms to the United Nations guide and Intelligent transportation system.
