Delay Network Performance Enhancement Distributed Model for LTE and WiMAX in Wireless Communication System Using Distributed Model
ABSTRACT
Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) and Long-Term Evolution (LTE) Networks are one of the best wireless networks designed to facilitate quick and efficient communication among internet users for resource sharing and access. Several research have attempted to alleviate the Network Delay problem for users by proposing a number of solutions in the area of Quality of Service with respect to Network delay but did not provide a promising result. In this paper, a Distributed Client-Server model for LTE and WiMAX in wireless communication systems was proposed and simulated for delay network performance enhancement. In order to determine best Network performance for both the LTE and WiMAX network technology Quality of Service (QoS) with respect to Network Delay. The new model was compared with the existing centralized model. In order to improve the services offered to end users, the new Distributed Client Server Model for LTE demonstrated a significant improvement in network delay performance when compared to the WiMAX Network Delay. The model was simulated in the OPNET modeller (16.0) using Multiple Access Points, Base Stations (BSs), Subscriber Stations (SSs), and a selected server BSs that were selected based on the Nearest Neighbourhood Algorithm and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) techniques.
