DIGITAL TWIN TECHNOLOGY FOR SMARTHEALTHCARE SYSTEM

ABSTRACT

Digital Twin represent a significant advancement in technology, broadening the scope of digital models to encompass tangible items or intricate operations. Within the healthcare domain, a digital twin constitutes an exact virtual counterpart of the complete human anatomy or elaborate procedures, empowered by live data feeds. It employs sophisticated computational techniques to emulate and scrutinize various scenarios. In the medical field, digital twins facilitate enhancements in patient diagnoses and treatments, as well as the refinement of healthcare workflow efficiencies. In this research we explore how digital twin can aid remote patient care, conduct predictive analysis and preventive intervention and remote clinical operation and optimization. Though, digital twin is facing infancy challenges ranging from data security and privacy, high deployment cost, technical complexity and lack of regulations, it will transform healthcare system when adopted in the face of rising needs of accessing healthcare services.
