Esecurevideo: Enhanced Security Model In Peer-Assisted Network
Abstract
The recent outbreak of Corona-Virus (COVID-19) has contributed to the high demand for efficient online video streaming services and has questioned the effectiveness of traditional Content Distribution Networks (CDN) and the Peer to Peer network (P2P). However, the Peer-Assisted Networks (PA-CDNs) combine the best features of the CDNs and P2P networks to enable effective video streaming. The PA-CDNs approach uses both servers and peers, and optimizes both delivery methods to create the best possible user experience but susceptible to attacks hence, transmitting data content through a secured channel platform is essential. This research presents a hybrid security model to enhance and improve security in PA-CDNs network environments by ensuring secure access control and mitigating security issues. The experimental result shows that the approach proves effective to improve the security of information such as data or files and prevent the detection of secured communications.
