SCHEMATIC FRAMEWORK FOR SEAMLESS DATA ACCESS OVER SECURED SINGLE SIGN-ON CLOUD RESOURCES

ABSTRACT

Several applications and cloud resources require the same login credentials of a user for easy access to different online resources but the need to authenticate the user for each login makes it dependent. In distributed computer environment, the Identity Provider (IDP) authenticates the user to log into relying party (RP) resources which always relies on the authentication of user logins requires adaptation cloud resource access in third-party identity management using SSO. This research proposes an improved authentication process in which a schematic framework t authenticate users only once by recording and encrypting user credentials with a one-way hashing algorithm. The login process was pictured in the proposed framework. The features introduce simplify users' subsequent logins for accessing resources by confirming user credentials without additional authentication by service providers (IDP). The proposed framework entails some features that simplify users' subsequent logins. The experiment conducted has exposed that the proposed inspiration has significantly abridged the user authentication process compared to the usually known procedure.
