Quantitative approach via survey questionnaire was employed to assess the student’s perception. The research survey collected 220 questionnaires out of 300 copies distributed to level 1, 2, 3 and level 4 for data analysis, the research population are from the five (5) Faculties of the University. The idea on collecting views from level 1 to level 4 is to analyze the perception of current and fast users of the CBT as platform for conducting examinations. The research verifies how students perceive the “Usefulness of CBT”, and also how students perceive the “Ease of Using CBT”. The results shows that majority of the students believed that CBT is very “useful” to their studies and they were “comfortable” with the CBT, which is user friendly and enhances their academic performance, it also provides efficiency in processing examination results. Finally, the research findings discovered that, a strategy for employing both PPT and CBT methods is needed in order to enhance reading and writing culture amongst the students of the University.
