STRENGTHENING NIGERIA’S DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURE: STRATEGIES FOR CYBERSECURITY RESILIENCE AND POLICY INNOVATION

ABSTRACT

With the digital revolution, the question of resilience in the face of cybersecurity is of great importance to Nigeria's security, economy and development. In this research paper, the focus is on the issues of how digital infrastructure resilience can be achieved in Nigeria through the use of cybersecurity and innovation. In the case of cyber security, threats are continually evolving and Nigeria's digital infrastructure is exposed to the primary threats of ransom ware, cybercrime and cyber terror. The digital infrastructure is recommended to be secure in a holistic way, especially in terms of technology and policy. The importance of innovations is also paramount and should be considered; hence, research, native talent, artificial intelligence and blockchain are explored.
