AI-DRIVEN SOLUTIONS FOR SUSTAINABLE ORONSAYE REPORT FOR EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION IN NIGERIA
ABSTRACT
Artificial intelligence (AI) is a cutting-edge technology that allows machines to act intelligently and carry out certain tasks with or without human assistance. AI has revolutionised fields such as education, industry, agriculture, and governance. Recently, these fields have faced many challenges ranging from high-cost project implementation, technological bias, policy adoption, and highly personified algorithms to executive an acceptable project. These challenges have been extended to implementing the “Presidential Committee on the Rationalization and Restructuring of Federal Government Parastatals, Commissions, and Agencies," officially termed the “Oronsaye report”. Moreover, the execution of this report has faced strong resistance among the stakeholders. This paper objectively addresses the peculiar challenges in the report using artificial intelligence-driven algorithms. The report aims to streamline government operations to enhance fiscal sustainability and service delivery. These algorithms set to examine the available data from the report, identify trends, and modify their actions to improve the Oronsaye report. The study further provides sustainable development and principles for IT-governance applications of AI technology. Subsequently, it highlights the insight of the Oronsaye report and associated challenges. It critically discusses the implications of deploying AI algorithms in the Oronsaye report and solutions to counter them. Additionally, future research directions were discussed to clarify the challenges of adopting AI technology. This will increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery as government agencies utilized insightful discussion therein.
