ABSTRACT:
The advancement in Computer Science, if properly tailored, can enhance active, healthy and a bore free life within and outside different Nigerian homes. The introduction of Ambient Intelligence empowers people’s capabilities by means of digital environment that is sensitive, adaptive and responsive to human needs. This paper proposes adapting this paradigm to promote and consolidate healthy, active and bore free life of Nigerian adults. The research provides a conducive and interactive platform where the adults can communicate with their family members in a reclusive platform akin to that of a typical Nigerian Home. The Cognitive Social Structure (CSS) was adopted as the underlying methodology. Such that, in the platform, there exist groups (G), which represent different families, and the elements (e) which represent the people that belong to the family. Then, in each group there exist G(e1), which represents the head of the family, who takes full advantage of the platform. To simulate the real world scenario, only admins have the advantage to interact with others outside their groups. This concept helps in analysing elements and their relationship within an interactive platform. The system was built within the confines of the latest programming stacks.
